Dell XPS 13 OLED 2021 Specifications

Once the greatest laptop joins the newest display technology, the Dell XPS 13 OLED is what occurs. Pairing the two produces magic, an extremely transportable gadget that can carry out most activities yet offering a cinematic vision. Some other XPS configurations maintain all of it we love, notably quick efficiency, stunning conception and high-performance touchpad.

However, each activity has a reverse effect as philosophers say. The adoption of a high-resistance OLED display will clearly hurt battery life. The XPS 13 lasts longer than 7.5 hours on a single charge. That’s not so terrible you could have thought. There will be only one further hurdle you may disregard for the below average runtime, the restricted port choice.

The XPS 13 OLED is the best 13-inch laptop for individuals who desire the highest screen quality in a tiny Luxury design, despite these disadvantages.

Price and specifications of the Dell XPS 13 OLED 2021

Mounting the FHD+ non-touch base to the OLED panel costs an additional $400, corresponding to the cost of a complete 4K IPS alternative. The starting cost of XPS 13 OLED is set to $1,649 with Intel Core i7-1185G7 CPU, RAM 16GB and NVMe 512 GB SSD.

You just have to upgrade your storage, which costs $150 to 1TB, or $450 to a 2TB SSD. Another option is to choose the Frost outside with Arctic White interior at an additional cost of $50.

The 13.4-inch, 3.5K OLED panel in our Frost models costs $1,699 for Core i7-1185G7 CPU, 16GB of RAM and 512,0 GB SSD.

Dell XPS 13 OLED 2021 design

Taking a look at XPS 13 is like opening the tables after a snowstorm and wondering at the beautiful white powder blanket on the floor.

Just one darker aspect, which contrasts with the brilliant OLED panel, is a thin black belly surrounding the screen. The bright, chromium-style colors and the Dell logo on the deck offer the XPS 13 a state-of-the-area sci-fi appearance.

Dell XPS 13 OLED 2021 Review

This laptop was popularized for years by super slim bezels, and Dell continues to do better. Dell has built a good four-sided Infinity Edge display by eliminating the chin (the bezel underneath the screen. The best thing about this is that it remains above the display.

The frame has been smartly designed to be as simple as possible. The result is a 13.4 inch laptop with most 11″ laptops at footprint. The XPS 13 OLED can easily be put into a rucksack at 11.6x 7.8 x 0.6 inches or 2.8 pounds, or it fits in the tablet slot of my bag. The XPS 13 OLED is hardly noticeable. The MacBook Pro (M2x8.4×0.6-inch, 3-pf) and Microsoft Surface Laptop 4 are smaller than the Spectrum of X3601 (36.6-inches, 11.8×8.7 x 0.7-inch) (12.1 x 8.8 x 0.6 inches, 2.8 pounds).

The XPS 13 may appear small, but it’s reliable. You can open the deck with single finger without lifting the twin-coil hinges, however. The XPS 13 has a one-size‐fits‐all design, and crumbs could endurance years of business travel, and steep tolerances suggest. You also get an IR camera and a fingerprint sensor inside the keyboard to record those angry passwords. So you’ve never got to keep them in mind! It’s also practical.

Dell XPS 13 OLED ports

The XPS 13’s ultra-thin design limits the number of ports available, but it does have a few essential extras. A headphone jack and a Thunderbolt 4 port for recharging, data transmission, and connecting to displays are located on the right side.

Additional Thunderbolt 4 connector, as well as a microSD card slot, can be found on the left side. I appreciate the USB Type-C ports on both sides of the laptop, however a USB 3.1 Type-A port is severely lacking.

Dell included a USB Type-A to USB Type-C adapter in the box as a freebie.
